Where was the TV series CHiPs filmed? All over the Los Angeles area, but specifically, the episode Moving Violation filmed in downtown Culver City, California right across the street from the historic MGM Studios.

In this Quick Preview Video, we take a then and now look at some of the filming locations used in this episode of this popular TV series.

On a historical note, we get to see the remnants of the old Pacific Electric railway tracks that used to run down Culver Blvd in Culver City, California. These tracks were an important transportation corridor dating back to the 1910s, running from downtown Los Angeles to the beach communities.
