There's a lot of filming on location in this one, from Pasadena to Beverly Hills.

The Tramp Arrives - Pasadena

The opening scene of the Tramp arriving on the train was filmed at the Santa Fe train station which was located at approximately the same location as today's Del Mar light-rail station at 260 South Raymond Avenue in Pasadena, California.

The Tramp On A Golf Outing

The golfing scenes were shot next to the Los Angeles river a few miles north of downtown Los Angeles. The overall topography remains more than 100 years later, however the Los Angeles river which was captured in its natural state in the movie, has since been partially encased in concrete here.

The Tramp Relaxing In A Park

The park scene in The Idle Class was filmed at what is today's Will Rogers Memorial Park in Beverly Hills. This is the same filming location used in the opening scene of the 1932 Laurel and Hardy movie Pack Up Your Troubles.
