Production & Preservation Note: The production crew for It's Your Move sought out the hilly terrain of the Silver Lake area of Los Angeles to film the comedy short's centerpiece sequence. Conveniently located near other legendary comedy filming sites—including the famous Music Box steps used by Laurel and Hardy and another nearby "steps" filming location used by The Three Stooges—the Descanso Steps, built in 1924 at 3200 Larissa Drive remain a preserved and accessible destination for fans of classic Hollywood location history.
The Plot
Two men mistake a woman at the top of a long flight of steps to be interested in purchasing a very bulky washing machine and end up carrying it up and down the steps several times!

For this film, the on-location shooting took place at the famous Descanso Steps, located at 3200 Larissa Drive.
