Conveniently located near other legendary comedy filming sites—including the famous Music Box steps used by Laurel and Hardy and another nearby "steps" filming location used by The Three Stooges—the Descanso Steps, built in 1924 at 3200 Larissa Drive remain a preserved and accessible destination for fans of classic Hollywood location history.
Much like the legendary Laurel and Hardy short The Music Box and The Three Stooges movie An Ache in Every Stake, the production crew for Edgar Kennedy's 1945 comedy It's Your Move headed straight to the hilly Silver Lake area of Los Angeles for their steep, long flight of steps to meet the plot demands.
