Historical Production & Location Reference

Episode Title: Nagging Suspicion (1974)
TV Series: Emergency! (Season 4)
Studio Origin: Mark VII Limited / Universal Television
Director: Christian I. Nyby II
Featured Historical Landmarks:
  • LACoFD Station 127 (Station 51): Located at 2049 East 223rd Street in Carson, California. The iconic engine bay doors and exterior tarmac look instantly recognizable.
  • San Fernando Valley Corridor: Real-world residential and commercial streetscapes utilized for response sequences during the 1974 production calendar.

Production & Preservation Note: Jack Webb's Mark VII productions relied heavily on authentic Los Angeles locations, turning this mid-century modern station in Carson into a permanent monument of television history. Remarkably, Station 127 remains active and structurally unaltered after over fifty years. Similarly, the featured San Fernando Valley location retains its original architectural profile, resisting the rapid redevelopment seen across Southern California.

The Iconic Squad 51 Fire Station

Where was the fire station that was seen in every episode of the TV series Emergency? 2049 East 223rd Street in Carson, California and it's still standing today as you'll see in this video.
