This Quick Preview video looks at the King's visit to the Ilikai Hotel as he struggles to confront mid-20th century innovations like luggage conveyor belts and fountains ("the rain is falling up!"). Filming took place at the hotel entrance and in the back garden area. Aside from a few landscaping and architectural changes, the filming location is easily recognizable today.
