- The First House: Located at 3406 Caroline Avenue in Culver City, built in 1927 and demolished in 2025. It stood virtually unchanged for almost a century and was a favorite tour stop for Laurel and Hardy fans.
- The James Finlayson House: Located at 10281 Dunleer Drive in Cheviot Hills/West Los Angeles, this residential bungalow was the site of the legendary door-to-door destruction match.
- Dunleer Drive Streetscape: Neighboring homes along this block serve as the backdrop for the boys' ill-fated door-to-door sales trek.
- Cheviot Hills Subdivisions: Captures a raw, newly developed slice of late-1920s Southern California residential expansion just rolling off the architectural drawing boards.

Two World Famous Homes In Culver City
The two homes featured in this legendary 1929 Laurel and Hardy silent comedy Big Business have become absolute "must-visit" Laurel and Hardy filming locations for fans worldwide. While the second house remains standing in the Cheviot Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles and is easily recognizable today, the first house used in the movie was unfortunately torn down, with a new home being constructed on the lot as of 2025.
