The Plot
Mr. Hardy (as J. Piedmont Mumblethunder) is a well-respected citizen in town and his nephew, Philip (Laurel) comes to visit him from Scotland - dressed in a full authentic Scottish kilt. Mr. Mumblethunder decides Philip needs to get a pair of pants and as the two walk the streets, they attract the attention of the local citzenry.
