Our Gang / The Little Rascals - Love My Dog (1927) - Filming Locations
In this silent comedy from the
Our Gang / The Little Rascals series,
Love My Dog, the Little Rascals go to hilarious lengths to disguise their pets and outsmart the neighborhood dog catcher. As one of the later silent shorts in the series, it features extensive on-location filming that serves as a beautiful time capsule of the Westside of Los Angeles in the 1920s.
The Famous Motor Avenue and Woodbine Street Intersection
Once again, Hal Roach Studios utilized the
Palms neighborhood on the West Side of Los Angeles for this production. Specifically, the intersection of Motor Avenue and Woodbine Street serves as the primary filming location.
If you have been following our Our Gang / The Little Rascals filming locations series, these streets will look very familiar! This corner was a favorite for the production team and appears in several other iconic shorts.
