- Palms Neighborhood: The western Los Angeles community served as the primary filming location for the bulk of the film's on-location sequences.
- Motor Avenue and Woodbine Street Intersection: The northwest corner of this Palms neighborhood intersection serves as the scenic setting where Joe attempts to woo Peggy Ahern. The bench they are sitting on appears in several other Our Gang / The Little Rascals movies.
Production & Preservation Note: While The Love Bug beautifully captures the green, small-town charm of Palms in the mid-1920s, the picturesque bench, mature tree, and open streetscape at the northwest corner of Motor and Woodbine have long since disappeared. This footage stands as a vital historical record, capturing the lost aesthetics of the Westside area of Los Angeles in the early twentieth-century.

This particular Quick Preview excerpt focuses on a scene where Joe is trying to woo Peggy Ahern on a picturesque bench under a tree. Sadly, the tree, bench and charm of this spot are all long gone.
