From Open Field To Parking Lot The Gang built their railroad in an open field on the northwest corner of Motor Avenue and National Blvd in the Palms neighborhood of Los Angeles. The field is long gone replaced by, what else, a parking lot for a strip mall. However 3302 Motor Avenue, one of the oldest buildings in the area, remains standing in the background.

The Plot

The Gang love hanging around the local railroad yard, but keep getting chased away. As a solution, they build their OWN railroad, but their homemade train jumps the track and takes them on a wild ride through the neighborhood.

The Filming Locations

A silent Our Gang / The Little Rascals movie that was filmed almost entirely on the streets of the Palms neighborhood of Los Angeles and downtown Culver City, California.
