Production & Preservation Note: The filming of Bring 'Em Back A Wife provides an exceptional window into the architectural landscape of Culver City during the early 1930s. Aside from the Pacific Electric Railway tracks, which have since been removed, the core historical landmarks—including the iconic Culver Hotel—have been beautifully preserved, allowing for direct, real-world comparison to the film’s original location shots.

Pretty much unknown today, The Taxi Boys series is notable for the extensive amount of location filming incorporated into the movies.

While they didn't realize it at the time, director Del Lord and the film crew have created a perfect time capsule of downtown Culver City, California in 1933. In this filming locations then and now video, we get to see the downtown core including the historic Culver Hotel, the Pacific Electric Railway tracks running down the middle of Culver Blvd and the Southern California Telephone Company building. With the exception of the Pacific Electric Railway tracks, pretty much everything else you'll see is still present today.
