| Episode Title: | Hawaii Bound (1972) |
| TV Series: | The Brady Bunch (Season 4) |
| Studio Origin: | Paramount Television |
| Director: | Jack Arnold |
Production & Preservation Note: Both the Sheraton Waikiki and it's next door neighbor The Royal Hawaiian Resort look remarkably similar today compared to when they were captured on film for this episode of The Brady Bunch in 1972.
The Brady's go on a Hawaii vacation (though of course, Mike Brady is there to work on a construction project).
Hawaii Bound is a dream come true for the Honolulu Chamber of Commerce. The episode features ample on location filming around the island of Oahu and the locations seen in 1972 are all still here today.
At just one year old when The Brady Bunch filmed here, the driveway and entrance spaces to the hotel look very much the same today as they did in 1972.
The hula dancing scene filmed right next door to the Sheraton Waikiki, on the backyard lawn of the Royal Hawaiian Resort. The lawn is in the same spot today as it was in 1972 and there's been minimal changes to the beach walk, providing a very dramatic "then and now" look at this filming location.
