| Film: | Traffic Tangle (1930) |
| Star: | Nat Carr |
Production & Preservation Note: This part of Traffic Tangle provides a remarkable look at a residential neighborhood in Culver City, the 9000 block of Carson Street. The homes visible in the film are here today and retain their same architectural features that were captured on film when Traffic Tangle filmed there in 1930.
A man takes his family for a drive in his new car but gets into a run-in with a traffic cop. The cop left his ticket-book at home and orders the man - with family included - to drive him to his house so he can pick up his ticket-book. When they arrive at the house, there's more trouble: the cop's kids and the man's kids get into a fist fight!
Because of the extensive amount of location filming in this movie, the complete movie locations then and now video documentary has been broken up into two parts. This is the second of those two parts.
The location of the cop's house was a real home located about a quarter mile from the studio on the 9000 block of Carson Street in Culver City. The house looks exactly the same today as it did when it was captured on film in 1930.
